Fostul ministru al Justiției, Tudorel Toader (susținut de ALDE în această funcție), în prezent rector al Universității „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iași, a fost internat de urgență, în noaptea de duminică spre luni, la Spitalul de Neurochirurgie „Nicolae Oblu” din Iași.
Potrivit presei locale, Tudorel Toader a ajuns la spital după ce s-a simțit rău.
Purtătorul de cuvânt al unității medicale, Florin Grămadă, a declarat pentru Mediafax că fostul ministru primește îngrijiri medicale la Spitalul „Nicolae Oblu”, însă a precizat că nu poate oferi detalii despre starea sa de sănătate.
Tudorel Toader, nu era cunoscut cu probleme grave de sănătate.
El este și membru al Comisiei de la Veneția, începând din luna mai 2018, timp de 4 ani, fiind numit în această funcție de Liviu Dragnea – la acea dată președintele Camerei Deputaților – și Călin Popescu Tăriceanu, președintele Senatului României.
