Zeci de angajați de la Spitalul Universitar București au protestat miercuri, din nou, din cauza condițiilor mizerabile în care sunt obligați să-și facă datoria și din cauza faptului că au fost puși să aleagă între acordarea sporurilor și acceptarea voucherelor de vacanță.
Oamenii, în special asistenți medical, infirmieri și brancardieri, susțin că s-au săturat să plătească din banii lor materialele de care au nevoie pentru a-și face datoria.
De asemenea, oamenii nu mai vor să aibă pe conștiință ideea că expun pacienții la numeroase riscuri din cauza dezinfectării precare care se face în spital și a mobilierului învechit.
Mai mulți angajați au anunțat că intră în greva foamei dar deocamdată s-au înregistrat doar două informări oficiale în acest sens.
Dan Simion, asistent medical la Spitalul Universitar București, a intrat în greva foamei încă de luni. Din păcate, miercuri dimineața lui i s-a făcut rău, iar colegii au sunat la 112.
Echipajul medical care l-a preluat a insistat pentru internarea lui chiar în incinta Spitalului Universitar, însă acesta a refuzat, chiar dacă protocolul spune că el trebuie internat la cel mai apropiat spital.
Dan Simion a semnat refuzul de internare la Spitalul Universitar și a ajuns, cu ajutorul colegilor, la Spitalul Militar, unde a fost internat la Terapie Intensivă.
Tot în cursul zilei de miercuri, Mariana Luceanu, alt asistent medical de la Spitalul Universitar, și-a înregistrat oficial intrarea în greva foamei. Ea a precizat că a recurs la acest gest pentru că și-a dorit să existe cineva care să preia ștafeta de la Dan Simion, în cazul în care acesta cedează.
Protestatarii susțin că nu înțeleg de ce sunt obligați să renunțe la banii pe care i-ar merita, în condițiile în care politicienii aflați la putere se laudă cu o creștere economică record.
De asemenea, protestatarii solicită demisia managerului Spitalului considerând că doar în asemenea condiții controlul impus de ministrul Sănătății se poate desfășura în cele mai corecte circumstanțe.
