Proiectul de lege adoptat, joi, de Guvernul Orban, pentru revenirea la alegerea primarilor în două tururi de scrutin nu se referă și la președinții de consilii județene (CJ), a anunțat purtătorul de cuvânt al Executivului, Ionel Dancă.
Precizarea nu ar fi fost făcută, dacă acesta nu era întrebat de jurnaliști, la briefingul de presă de la finalul ședinței de Guvern.
Referitor la asumarea răspunderii pe legea privind alegerea primarilor în două tururi de de scrutin, Dancă a spus că ”Guvernul va trimite o scrisoare, luni, Parlamentului, în care să solicite convocarea unei sesiuni extraordinare pentru angajarea răspunderii Guvernului”.

OUG 40/2019 a fost cerută și de baronii PNL
Amintim că Guvernul Dăncilă a modificat legea electorală, în 3 iunie 2019, prin OUG 40 (vezi document la finalul articolului), astfel încât peședinții de CJ să fie aleși uninominal, într-un singur tur de scrutin. Până acum, ei erau aleși prin vot de consilierii județeni.
Vicepremierul de atunci, Daniel Suciu (PSD), i-a demascat pe liberali, declarând că au fost de acord cu acest act normativ inclusiv președinții de CJ aparținând PNL.
