După Cristian Manea la Mouscron, Nicuşor Stanciu la Anderlecht Bruxelles şi Răzvan Marin la Standard Liege, încă un tânăr fotbalist de mare perspectivă, din Liga I, a ajuns în campionatul de fotbal al Belgiei.
În ultima zi a perioadei de mercato din iarnă, Dorin Rotariu, atacantul formaţiei Dinamo Bucureşti, a fost transferat la FC Bruges, campioana en-titre a Belgiei.
Rotariu a fost cedat pe 2,2 milioane de euro şi a semnat un contract valabil pe trei ani şi jumătate cu gruparea antrenată de Michel Preud’homme, fostul mare goalkeeper belgian.
Rotariu ar urma să fie coleg la noua sa echipă cu fotbalişti importanţi precum Ricardo van Rhijn (opt selecţii în naţionala Olandei), Lior Refaelov (35 de selecţii şi cinci goluri în naţionala Israelului) sau Jelle Vossen (12 selecţii şi două goluri în naţionala Belgiei).
Plecarea lui Rotariu, cu doar câteva zile înainte de startul sezonului de primăvară din Liga I, pune în mare dificultate pe Dinamo Bucureşti. Formaţia antrenată de Ioan Andone i-a mai pierdut în această iarnă pe Harlem Gnohere şi Valentin Lazăr şi nu a adus mare lucru în schimb.
Oficial a venit doar Thaer Bawab, un fotbalist extrem de experimentat, dar care se apropie de 32 de ani şi este departe de forma fizică ideală. În plus, încă se discută pentru înregimentarea atacantului nigerian Victor Obinna, însă vârful de 30 de ani, fost la Internazionale Milano şi West Ham United, încă aşteaptă o ofertă demnă de CV-ul său impresionant.
